The Endbringer
This was a song I have been trying to perfect for years. I had created the song as part of my portfolio themed around a possible fighting game.
I created this track in 2016 as a theme for the penultimate boss of a hypothetical fighting game.  The foundation of this track was to be hybrid of both rock and orchestra.
I could never find a version of this song that I considered to be perfect when I was initially creating it. This was largely due to my inexperience in understanding how to fit each piece together & how the song flowed. The main offender was the drums.
Before tackling this version of the song, I went and heard the songs that inspired this piece to get an idea of how the drums were arranged. I adjusted the drum line to be more consistent and used cymbals to emphasize the parts I wanted to and designed the rest of the instruments from there. The arrangement mimicked the acoustic version.
The Endbringer - Acoustic
This was a song I had conceptualized over 5 years ago. I had created the song as part of my portfolio themed around a possible fighting game.  The original version featured the same melodies, but was faster and used different instruments.
i was imagining the original version of this song being a sort of penultimate boss of this game.  I thought to use rock and orchestra for this since that combination is one of my favorite ones
I decided to make this version because the melodies would have been more emotional, and it would have been easier to time the drums with the guitar.
Where the original version was meant to feel fast, epic and adrenaline-pumping, this one is meant to feel more somber while still retaining some dramatic weight.
I conceived the original arrangement for a hypothetical boss fight, this arrangement would be for the credits of the game.
